Have you ever loved someone?

Have you ever loved them the first time you spoke to them?
Have you ever fallen so deeply in love with them that you didn't care what they looked like?
Have you ever wanted to spend all your time with them?
Have you ever wanted to do everything you could for one more moment of time just talking?

Would you do anything to stay with this person?
Would you do everything to keep them safe?

Also, unrequited love is the worst type of love :(

Well, I'm done with it.

I think I'm finished with this account on DA. Coming back a year from when this account was made and looking at my drawings is laughable. I am not artist, I'll admit it. A couple of doodles from in classes that I don't even know why I put in. I might go inactive on this account and create a new one to house any stories I happen to write, because they're probably the only things worth keeping.

Also, to my friends IRL (well, probably the only people watching this DA too) WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER XD. Summer is almost over and I am bored out of my tree :) And I do want to see you guys before school comes out, duh :p

Depressed

Yes, that's right folks. I'm depressed.

I've been really really sad a lot lately for a number of reasons. I'm ugly, fat, weird and nobody will ever love me for the rest of my life. I'm a shitty artist honestly (yes I know for all of those who think my drawings are "cute" - you can just say crap you know) so it doesn't matter but I don't have a whole lot of motivation to do anything nowadays.

Hopefully I'll get pills or something to fix this. Just feeling really really heartsick.

Twilight

Haven't said anything in a while and haven't posted stuff in AGES. Haven't felt the urge to scan anything, meh. I'm going to make a new ID hopefully, the last one failed and was inaccurate.

Anyway, this is a rant of mine that I just have to write. About Twilight. And how it sucks.

I'm going to admit something first: I read fanfiction. Yes, yes I do. It's a very very guilty pleasure. It's like eating the icing off of the cake: It tastes good but you know your going to be sick later.

Fanfiction is generally filled with cliches, Mary Sues (self inserts) and grammar murder. Yes, I went through that stage in my life where I read horrible fanfiction. I can no longer write nice reviews anymore for any fanfiction in general. The people who write it are teenagers, not professional writers. I read it only for a smut fix, and only occasionally. It is difficult for me to do so any longer as I feel the sudden urge to throw up every time I read it. Not to say it's bad (some are) but it's not good either. It's ok, it's not expertly written literature, just smut and sugariness. So much I did extra insulin for it.

Twilight was ok too. :iconjessie-belli: introduced me to it and gave me the first one to read, Twilight (much to :iconeureka-sevenman: dismay, he had been waiting for it for a while). Luckily for him I had it done withing 1~2 days. My opinion? It was ok.

Why? Because it read like smutty fanfiction (minus the grammar murder). It has little or no plot at all and consists of Bella fawning over Edward the whole time. I'd have liked to read something with a plot (you have to have cake with your icing) instead of sickly sweet love-love the whole time. It also read like a lot of other vampire and werewolf books (except Edward sparkles and farts rainbows! :D ) that I have read before (see Anne Rice or really any Romance section at your local book store, NOT THE TEEN SECTION).

This brings me to another point: The audience it was written for. It was written for teenage girls and to appeal to them. There's a saying among literature: Those who cannot write, write teen novels. It's simply because romance sells for them, so all you really have to do is cook up a romantic filled novel and your good. Not all of them are like this, but most don't have complex plots and symbolism like normal books. The main reason they become popular is because they have a larger audience to appeal to them.

This brings me to why I now hate Twilight: the fangirls. Fangirls. I have a couple of airhead girls in my class who used to bug me until I moved. They didn't know what the word "inquisitive" meant, they never read anything other than Harry Potter. One day, the girl beside me says "Hey, you should totally read Twilight! It's like the best book EVER!". I don't know if she did that to piss me off or not but, well, it did. It's ok for a book to have fans, it means that the book is popular. However, when you have a bunch of rabid fangirls running around saying "OMG twilight is leik genius it's leik teh best book evar! it pwns harry potter all the time!!!11" Yes, well Harry Potter had plot. From what I understand, your basically telling me that no plot=ok?

I don't like to criticize the intelligence of these people (I normally don't, it's rude. Don't hate the player, hate the game etc) but this time I have to say that if you honestly think Twilight is a literary master piece you are a retard. Seriously. Go read other books, there are other ones better than Twilight! If you haven't read anything outside of teen literature (no, books in English do NOT count and neither do comics/manga) then you have no idea what you are talking about. If you think Twilight has an "awesome plot" then you are also stupid. If you think Twilight is just a giant sugary sweet fluff-fest then you are right.

There are other problems with the book, such as thesaurus rape and endless, almost MUCK-esq descriptions of how hawt Edward is and how Bella wuvs him. Not to mention Edwards endless ramblings on how "He's so dangerous" and yet doesn't actually do anything. If Edward pinned her viciously to the ground, put his fangs up against her neck THEN I would understand. But nothing happens, he actually saves her most of the time.

So, yes, I do not like this book. Twilight is bringing our generations IQ lower than it already was by teaching us that pedophilia is A-OK (not joking, Jacob "imprints" on baby Nessie. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what that means) and you can give a c-section while awake with your teeth! Thanks, Twilight!

PS: To any fangirls reading this who wish to respond, I have a challenge: Do it with proper grammar and no chat speak. I know you can do it, and if you do I'll consider your opinion!

PPS: The only reason I'm going on about this is because I'm surrounded by them EVERY DAY. The only people who seem to think it sucks are the some of the gifted kids, my friends and the English teacher (lol)

The Beast is never loved

Beauty and the Beast is just a lie
Since when has any Beauty
ever truly loved a Beast
outside of pity?

The Beauty cares not for the Beast
She would rather have the prince
Instead.

She wouldn't care
about the love of a Beast
Or personality, or intellect
Or any of the things that make us
Who we are.

Because a Beast is just a Beast
And a Prince is a Prince.
